Three Qualities an Effective Travel Air Purifier Must Have

The concept of a travel air purifier may be new, but it’s rapidly gaining popularity and for good reason. Some of the world’s greatest travel destinations suffer from ever-worsening air pollution and we all know how easily hotel ventilation systems spread germs, allergens, lingering cigarette smoke, and fumes from cleaning solutions.

While a travel air purifier can reduce the pollution, allergens, and germs you’re exposed to while in your hotel room, not all portable air cleaners are suited to every situation. Before you buy, find out how to choose the air purifier that’s right for you.

The Right Size
Portable air purifiers range from wearable units that purify your personal breathing space to slightly larger tabletop units that clean the air throughout the whole room. Air cleaners in Hunter's HEPAtech® Solo2 series weight just 3 pounds, but only clean the air in the immediate area. The Roomaid Portable Air Purifier from Americare is 6 pounds and can handle up to 150 square feet. If you need something a little more heavy-duty, there’s the 12-pound Vornado Whole Room Air Purifier, which will purify air in all but the largest hotel suites.

The Right Filter Types
Before you decide on a filter type, you’ll need to identity which air-quality problems you want to solve. That might be germs, pollen and mold, dust, chemical fumes, or smoke and odors. HEPA-grade filters it removes 99% of airborne particles like dust, pollen, and mold. Activated carbon air filters take care of chemicals, gases, smoke, and odors. Ionic and ultraviolet light air purifiers work against disease-causing microbes. Before you buy a travel air purifier, make sure the filtration system will actually solve the problem you have.

The Right Filter-Replacement Schedule
Some filters can be washed or vacuumed, while others must be replaced. If you only need your travel air cleaner for the occasional vacation, changing or cleaning the filter won’t be a problem. If, however, you travel often or for long periods, choose an air purifier that doesn’t require frequent maintenance. Also consider sticking with a more popular model so you can easily find replacement filters while you're on the road.

Once you decide on these three critical aspects of your travel air purifier, you can look into other aspects like noise level, design, and user interface features.

Win your Ex-Boyfriend Back with this Proven Step-by-Step Strategy

You don’t want to think about it, but it’s almost impossible not to. You and your sweetie had a huge fight, he walked out, and now you find yourself constantly wondering how you can win your ex-boyfriend back. You feel lost, like a part of you is missing. You can’t concentrate and you feel like crying all the time. You want to get your boyfriend back and you’re ready to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

That reaction might be natural, but it’s likely to cause more harm than good. See, the problem is if you act on impulse, you risk becoming the dreaded “psycho ex” and driving your boyfriend away for good. Fortunately, there’s a way to win your guy back that’s more effective and easier on both of you.

Take Control of your Emotions
Instead of denying your emotions or letting them control you, work through them. After a break-up, it’s completely natural to feel anger, hurt, guilt, loneliness, and any number of other unpleasant emotions. Accept that you have these feelings and understand the reasons for them. Try to forgive both yourself and your ex-boyfriend.

Be willing to accept some blame for the break-up, too. Did you take him for granted? Did you make him feel disrespected? Were you flirting with other guys? Figure out how you can improve the way you’ve been treating and communicating with your ex-boyfriend.

Give him Space
For a couple of weeks, just let your ex be. Don't call, don’t text, don’t email, and whatever you do, don’t show up at his house or workplace. If you want to win your ex-boyfriend back, you want him to start thinking about the good times you had together, so he’ll miss you. He can’t miss you’re always around.

Give yourself a break, too. Reconnect with the people and things that energize you. Take a class, do some volunteer work, find a new hobby or pick up your old one again. Get back in touch with the woman you were before you were with your ex. After all, that’s the woman he fell for.

Give him an Opening
Once you feel in control and centered, call your ex-boyfriend and apologize. Don’t be factious, don’t cry and beg for forgiveness, and don’t drag the conversation out. Just tell him that you’re genuinely sorry for any pain or problems you caused him and wish him well in the future.

The next step is his. If he does contact you, don’t fall into his lap. Only agree to meet during the day in a public place. Be warm and friendly, but don’t bring up the idea of getting back together. Let him do that. Likewise, avoid the temptation to try to seduce him or he’ll realize he can use you as a booty call.

This simple, three-step method will help you avoid major mistakes that could create a permanent rift between you and your guy. Depending on why you broke up, though, it may not be all you need to win your ex-boyfriend back. [Left open-ended for resource box or product recommendation.]
